Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day Shift
Salary: Hourly rate to be negotiated dependant on experience
Start Date: November, 2009
(6 to 8 week Training period required out of state)
Requirements:
Education:
• Grade 12 graduate
• Post secondary electrical or electronics diploma
• ABYC certificate required
Skills:
• Read engineering drawings (Mechanical/Electrical)
• Work well in a team, as well as independently
• Capable of problem solving and decision making
• Thorough knowledge of ABYC electrical standards (Certificate required)
• Familiar with common marine navigation and communications equipment installation
• Exceptional wiring skills with an eye for detail and quality
• Capable of working in a fast paced factory environment
Other requirements:
• At least 3 years experience as Marine Electronics Technician
• Must have own basic hand tools
• Capability to lead a small production team
• Capability to communicate to Engineering Team
(verbal and written skills necessary)
• US citizen with valid passport
• Some US and International traveling required
• Valid driver license
• Twisting, bending, working in confine space required
