This is a part-time position teaching female teens and pre-teens classes once a month on Saturday and Sunday from 8am-6pm. You will be required to teach all components of our pre-set curriculum. Our curriculum includes modeling (runway and photo movement), acting (anything from public speak skills through soaps, sitcoms, commercials, and monologues), and personal development (hair, nails, make-up, personality development, etiquette, career savvy, interviewing skills, and nutrition). We require that all instructors go through our Instructor Training. This position requires excellent listening skills and ability to follow directions. Master’s degree required in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or Public Health. At least 5 years experience in the healthcare industry. Leadership and management experience in either healthcare or education.
•Librarian – Academic Success Center Coordinator
Provider tutoring and reference service to students; instruct students in the use of online databases and print materials; assist students with courses, assignments and study skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Library Science with experience tutoring students or working in a library. Knowledge of APA formatting. Must have exceptional communication skills, customer service and a strong desire to assist students in an academic learning environment.
Part-time positions available:
•Instructor for Medical Assistant program
Bachelor’s degree in a medical related field and CMA or RMA certification with 1 to 3 years experience as a medical assistant.
•Instructor for Surgical Technician program
Must be a certified Surgical Technologist – CST or CNOR with 3-5 years of operating room experience.
•Billing and Coding – Certification and Bachelors Degree required. Instructor needed to teach Medical Billing and Coding in the Allied Health program. Must be able to teach CPT-4, ICD-9, Reimbursement and Medical Insurance, Physician and Outpatient Coding.
Duties & Responsibilities: include the following; however, other duties may be assigned.
Establish and maintain relationships with universities and community colleges, community partners, possible funding sources and other agencies related to special projects. Continue the general work of family services in order to comply with program requirements, carry out the projects, and be aware of upcoming issues and trends in funding and service delivery research. Promote program across the state and solicit, prepare and deliver presentations about the FDC.
Coordinate with outside agencies to provide assistance to instructors, portfolio advisors, students and RCMA staff as needed and negotiate contracts when formal relationships are indicated. Communicate with management staff about the needs of the assigned project(s), and enlist support at all levels of RCMA for family service projects. Write progress reports as requested or required about special family service projects.
Provide technical assistance, instruction, or training to area based family support staff so they understand and can communicate about the projects in their areas and to community members or community college instructors. This will include close working relationships with the Family Service Manager, Mental Health Manager, Staff Development Coordinators other staff involved in Professional Development within RCMA and the FDC instructor/portfolio advisor network.
Frequently update and maintain information on RCMA website, including announcements regarding Instructor’s Institute, list of classes/locations where classes are offered. Make sure all documents on website are up-to-date. Follow up on leads from across state and liaison with Cornell University.
Maintain control of State exam information and provide packets to instructors at end of classes. Review student’s portfolios, provide feedback, and request certificates from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) as necessary. Collect and track fees (cohort, credential) and submit for deposit to Finance in Immokalee. Complete purchase orders for payment of fees to FGCU.
Assist in other family service training tasks, or other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Social Work, Education, or a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred. Bilingual (English/ Spanish) preferred. Must be computer literate in Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, and Outlook. Good writing, speaking skills and time management essential.

• Set up Tutoring for all programs (At-School, In-Home, and Weekend)
