1986 Catalina sailboat ready to sail now. Three cylinder Universal diesel engine 25 HP. I purchased this boat 2 1/2 years ago from a marine mechanic and a certified ABYC marine electrician. I am now forced to sell this boat due to medical mobility problems and I have already purchased a power boat. I paid $25,000 and have spent another $7,000 in upgrade in upgrades.
Extra tall mast. Garmin chart plotter & map. VHS marine radio. AM/FM & stereo with four speakers. Sleeps five. Built in ice box refrigeration, propane stove (tank & hose removed), enclosed bathroom with sink & toilet. Enclosed master suite. Built in closet and drawers. Captain’s chart table and storage. Enclosed Bimini and Dodger with rise glass windows and companion way cover. Electric anchor retrieval windlass with 30’ of 3/8” galvanized chain spliced to long nylon rope. Stainless steel grill with cover. Almost all new electrical work was done by the previous owner such as new circuit breaker panel, new battery panel selector switch, wire replacement as needed. Upgraded to all new LED lights in 2021. I replaced and upgraded both marine batteries in 2022. Replaced shore power cord in 2020. Replaced battery charger and battery cables in 2019. replaced AC/DC electrical panels and electric fault circuit interrupters in 2019.
The boat needs a new jib and some light cleaning.
