I was channel surfing in January 2001, just before the fatal crash on Feb 18, 2001. That is when I bought this car. I have lifted the lid on the box, but the car has never come out. It is as perfect as when it came from the factory over 22 years ago. As you can see in the picture the tissue around the car hasn't even been disturbed. When you couple that with the other items in this box (see pictures) you aren't going to find a better addition to your collection anywhere. This would be a great start to a new collection, or as an addition to an existing collection.

Included:
1) Vintage brand new condition, 1:24 scale 2001 Monte Carlo. Never removed from box. Total production 33,504. QVC 1 of 2,508, ARC 1 of 30,996.
1)Vintage brand new condition, 1:64 scale 1999, Brickyard 400 Monte Carlo. Never removed from clam shell display pack. Number 1 of 6.
1)Vintage January 1991 BASSMASTERS magazine featuring the INTIMIDATOR custom built GAMBLER bass boat.
7) newspaper articles about the crash and funeral, etc, from the Ottumwa Courier, Ottumwa Iowa. Dated February 2001, the week following the crash.
1) newspaper insert about the Winston Cup Series. Note: nothing about the crash in this insert.
1) artwork order form
You even get it in in the same box that QVC used to ship it to me.
