The recciver is rated at 6000 lb & the tongue is 500 lb. The ball that is mounted on the the receiver now is 2'' ball . The ball is a convert - A-ball it comes with a 17/8 '' I had a 2 5/16 '' but the pin got frozen in the ball that size I didn't use that much .
