For 50 years I've been writing down what I deem as patent-able product or business ideas. I have about 40. Some are more plausable than others. One is a simple, yet revolutionary safety device for all new cars. We get a patent, convince the USDOT to make it mandatory on all new vehicles (almost 20mil/year) and then we charge $1/vehicle. Another idea will bring in about $200 per licensed driver in the US, about 250 million. That's $50bil in about 5 years I figure. Another is new vehicle related, same as the other, patent, USDOT, then $1/new vehicle. I suspect some will already have patents, or not be patent-able.
So what do we do ? Talk 1st. Find out who what and why. We sign an NDA, retain a patent lawyer, apply, and then decide what to do with the patent later, maybe sell it.
From what I've been told, I don't think I'm looking for a 'conventional investor' as they usually want a sure thing, a record of growth, and they are essentially speeding up the growth process. They make profit, but I call it boring profit.
I'M LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO TURN THEIR $1MIL INTO $50BIL (or the other idea at $1BIL/MONTH).
I'm not looking for someone to give ME the money, just sign an NDA, and then just fund things, like the patent, maybe an office, etc.
In general I'm looking for someone who wants to bring new products to the US, have fun doing it, and get potentially very wealthy in the process. I'm also willing to give away 49% of ownership, as I'd like to determine when/if we sell, and give away a MAJORITY of the profits as I don't care too much about money.
Why don't I do this alone ? 1st, I'm an Idea person, an Engineer/Scientist, and part-time lawyer. Plus, due to other life events, I don't have the 1st $1MIL, and that's the hardest to make. Also, I'm not motivated to solely make money, as when I was 20, and need someone to motivate me.
