Tech troubles got you stuck? I'm here to help — especially if you're a senior, or you're trying to sort out tech help for an aging parent or relative from afar. Patient, clear explanations, zero judgment, zero jargon.
I'm in my late 30s, but I've been the designated "tech person" for my entire extended family since my high school days. Breaking things down into plain, simple language — and never rushing you — is what I do best.
Things I can help with:
-Getting a new phone, tablet, or computer up and running (or fixing one that's acting up)
-Setting up video calls with family (FaceTime, Zoom, WhatsApp, etc.)
-"Uh oh, I think I clicked on something bad" — let's check for scams, weird pop-ups, sketchy texts/emails, or viruses
-Printers acting difficult, sluggish computers, settings that make no sense
-Any "how do I..." question — there's no such thing as too basic, I've fielded it before
-Trickier stuff too (new gadgets, streaming setup, confusing interfaces on home devices)
Devices I support: Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android
How a session works:
Send a text (or call if it's urgent) to the number in my contact info — tell me what's going on and we'll find a time.
From there, we hop on a video call (Zoom is my go-to, but I can do video chat on pretty much any platform) so I can see exactly what's on your screen and guide you through it.
Not sure how to even start a video call? No problem — I'll walk you through that step too, and it won't cost you anything extra.
What it costs:
$1/minute, with a 10-minute minimum ($10 total). Before we start, I'll give you a ballpark estimate of how long the session should take.
I take Venmo and CashApp for payment.
The Biggest Point : I will NEVER ask you to read off or type in a password where I can see it. I will NEVER ask about your bank details or Social Security number. I will NEVER tell you to go buy gift cards. If someone else asks you for any of that — it's a scam, full stop. And if you're ever unsure whether something's legit, just ask me and I'll help you check.
Available all week, typically 9am–5pm, with some flexibility for later evening slots too. Feel free to have a family member join the call!
