Style is unique as there appear to be different types of paint and possibly marker used to create this VERY COLORFUL piece of art. It bears some Matisse qualities and fauvist elements. The almost square piece will certainly draw attention not only becaus of the wonderful bright colors but also the overall large full of life feel....you can imagine these two ladies casually sitting and talking about anything and everything over a cup of tea or java. Although you don't see their faces, the mood is one of candor and familiarily between the women and even one of freedom by the body language of the lady in green. She looks confident and frank despite only being able to see a portion of her. Overall the painting exudes confidence & strength.
