REI Ascent Shocklight Trekking Poles

I am selling two sets of poles. You can buy both sets or an individual set.

Each set comes with two poles with durable tungsten carbide tips, two soft rubber tip covers, and two removable trekking disks. See the photos.

Both sets are constructed of Aluminum 7075-T6 and have foam/rubber grips with adjustable, padded neoprene wrist straps for added support. The extended grips allow the pole to be held low during short side hill traverses without having to adjust the length.

Both sets have anti-shock springs that can be engaged for shock absorption or locked for use as a stiff pole.

The longer set (orange) has a maximum working length of 140 cm (55 inches) and minimum working length of 105 cm (41 inches). It is adjustable to any length in-between for maximum flexibility. For storage the set compresses to 70 cm (27.5 inches). The pair weighs 19 ounces.

The shorter set (yellow) has a maximum length of 125 cm (49 inches) and a minimum working length of 105 cm (41 inches). It is adjustable to any length in-between for maximum flexibility. For storage the set compresses to 62 cm (24.5 inches). The pair weighs 17 ounces.

REI no longer sells these exact sets of poles but I found a similar REI set of poles on their website for $79.95. See the photo.

My price of $50 for both sets of poles is a bargain. If you want only one set, my price is $30 since I will have to break up the matching set of his/her poles and find a buyer for the remaining set of poles.
