This 24x8.5 car hauler trailer has been fully installed with 2" foam board and holds temperature very well. It was set up to be used as a stationary micro green grow space and functioned as planned. But, we have since shut down the operation and it is now sitting in the driveway taking up space.
There is a 50 amp RV power plug and 25' extension cord included which you would need to power the AC. The current set up would work great for someone looking for a climate controlled storage unit. There are no leaks and the roof has a reflective silicone paint that helps keep it cool and dry.
The 12k BTU AC is oversized for the space and has no problem keeping it cool and crisp even on a hot South Florida summer day. I'm not sure how cold it will get but we would keep it between 68 and 72 degrees generally.
There are 3, 20a GFCI outlets on the inside and a water spigot which can be connected to a hose from the connection outside. The vinyl floor is easy to clean and water proof.
I would imagine that it could be powered by a generator as well for someone looking to tow it and use it as a climate controlled trailer. Some things might need to be secured a little differently though if you want to use it that way.
It would also make a great RV/camping and toy hauler trailer if you want to make some changes. Right now the rear ramp door is sealed off with foam board but could easily be removed.
The trailer itself is in good shape and is equipped with an electric jack on the front that works great and comes with a spare tire.
