About the Artist from the internet: Lee Burr was born in Los Angeles in 1936 and died in 2017. The artist was graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Southern California in 1962. His richly surfaced abstracts of massive scale are represented in imporant museums in the United States and numerous major collections. A wide international collector following established the artist's reputation among European devotees of the American Avante-Garde.
