.This very rare Renaissance chest set from the 1970`s features metal pieces and a leather patchwork board
where each square is a separate piece of leather patched together. (The metal material appears to be either pewter or nickle, my best
guess, but it cannot be confirmed)
.The board weighs about 8 plus pounds and measures approx. 20"x20".
.The set includes 32 chess pieces in brass and silver colors, as well as the brown and black chess board, very ornate and unique.
.The pieces are expertly crafted and showcase intricate designs, made from high-quality materials and in excellent used
condition.(see photos for details). I have not touched the patina on the chess pieces.
.Each piece is between 2 3/4" to 3 1/4" Tall.
.The board and gold pieces have green felt bottoms and the silver pieces have red felt bottoms.
.The set is perfect for chess enthusiasts or collectors who appreciate vintage items.
