Decked over with pressure treated 2x4's, 4x4's and 3/4" plywood.
Hardware is galvanized and high quality Stainless steel screws (hundreds of them). This platform is very solid and stable.
Actual dimensions are 15'11"x12 because 16' vessels must be registered with the state. Unpowered vessels under 16' do not need registration.
I've got over $3,000 and quite a few hours into this project.
