I have a hobbie pro angler 14. The kayak is a 2022 model, but I purchased it in march of 23. Due to the weight of the kayak, I purchased the boondocks wheels, specifically made for this model. I installed as the instruction stated. I then stored the kayak in my garage during the summer of 23. The temps in my garage exceed 150 degrees during summer months. The temps caused the kayak to break at the location I installed the boondocks wheels. In the winter of 23 I got a quote from Estero outfitters ( a certified hobie dealer and repair shop) for 300.00 to repair both sides. Instead I repaired one side myself in winter of 23. There is a repair kit you can purchase on Amazon for roughly 30.00. It’s not difficult, with a little common since. The repair I did myself is 2 years old and hasn’t broken or cracked further. So for 300, you can have hobie do it, or you can do it yourself. Once the left side is fixed, you simply reattach the side rails, and you good as new. All the plastic for the hole is included
I purchased the kayak for 5500.00
I’ll throw in the boondocks wheel system-350.00 value
I have a bed extender that I paid 250.00
The hobie seat on hobie website sells for 800.00
The hobie mirage 360 turbo kick up fins sell for 1000.00 on hobies website
There is also a 7 ft anchor pole I will throw in
The kayak, other than the repairable hole is in great condition. No holes in the keel. No soft, or worn spots. The fins work perfect, the seat is in perfect shape.
Will take 500.00 for all of it.
Must take all, will not separate.
