I am a Florida Registered Beekeeper here in southwest Florida.
I remove nuisance honey bee colonies and put them to work pollinating plants and making honey in a safe location.
I do not kill bees and I hope you won't either. Bees are a critical part of our ecosystem.
I wish I could rescue all nuisance honeybees for free, but I have to cover the cost of my gas, time, and equipment.
My prices are based on the difficulty of accessing the bees.
- Removing a swarm hanging in arm's reach - $25
- Removing a colony from an accessible water meter box or similar container - $50
- Removing a colony from a tree, stump, wall, floor, or roof soffit is $100 and up (max is $500 for really tough to access colonies).
My prices are low because I put the bees to work.
I remove the queen, her workers, and their honey comb.
I will give you a free estimate if you send me your location and a few photos. It helps if photos show the entrance to the bees' nest and the area around it where I will be working.
I have removed bees from all kinds of places: houses, mobile homes, boats, trees, cars, RVs, sheds, kids playhouses, dishwashers, air conditioners, pool heaters, mailboxes, hurricane shutters, fireplaces, billboards and other signs, a statue of a woman's ex-husband, and other unusual places.
I sell local honey and I help new beekeepers get started. If you are interested in becoming a beekeeper, I am happy to help you get started.
Thanks for reading. Let me know how I can help solve your bee problem.
Email, call, or text me. A few photos and your location can help me give you a more precise quote.
