225ft2 - From JUNE 2020 -- Long Term (Pine Island -- St James City to Bokeelia)

225ft2

cats are OK - purrr
dogs are OK - wooof

Older UF graduate and long-time Keys and Pine Island resident who is no bother, doesn't need a car, and uses buses or rides bike around. Turned 63 as of 9 August; but I am not a boring, old dude at all, just busy and QUIET.
A good person who has never run afoul of the law either.
I need a room, at least 15x15, that is empty, as well as an empty closet. I don’t want to use the common living area except to cook, but the empty room and closet. I have stuff. Two small futon couches, not junk, not collecting. You know, stuff.
I am a good fit for many reasons. The most important is that I get a medium VA stipend so your rent/utilities of $700 (with an initial first month and $700 last or deposit I will gladly pay) is automatically covered the first and I have enough for food, bills, emergencies and still save.
The $700 a month is guaranteed, as I have to pay off a small debt load. Leaving me more than enough.
Use VA for medical and the new one on Diplomat is good. FISH is a big help to us and need our support.
Know the Cape Coral/Pine Island area pretty well. Lived there off and on since 1997.
Was looking for up to least two years as I am firmly addicted to this writing thing (with one 584 page novel, 10 screen stories and four stage plays either finished, WIP or being pitched by my current agent in CA)!
As for my routine, I write every day, am very, very, very quiet, and spend much of the rest of my waking hours either working (p/t 15+ hrs in area if I can get it), practicing keyboard (with headsets), walking, biking the trails, seeing the natural sites, researching the Internet, or going to the library (at the Center) as I have since the late 90s.
In addition to the VA for medical the natural surroundings of the Lee Islands offer the vista, muse and research capability I need.
Right now I am in the Gainesville for the VA and have been here, Islamorada, or SW FLA (St. James City or Bokeelia in Pine Island) for most of the last 21+ years. Way too expensive ($$$) for me to in the Keys, so I have to move on.
As for my routine, I write every day, am very, very, very quiet, and spend much of the rest of my waking hours either working (p/t 20+ hrs in area if I can get it), practicing keyboard (with headsets), walking, biking the Island, seeing the natural sites, researching the Internet, or going to the local library as I have since the early 90s.
No drunken, drug-fueled, drama here. I sometimes am accused of being too quiet and at my age that makes people wonder, but don't, I am usually going over right riffs, left bass lines; or plot-lines, characters, genres, points and pinches in my head day and night.
I am also drug free, do not smoke, straight, single, do not drink anything but the odd beer (College & Pro Football on closed caption), neat and clean, use my own cell phone or for all calls, and I do not steal nor am in any way disrespectful or judgmental.
Just quiet. (Again with the quiet !) I mean that about no TV or music noise from me. Well, maybe college and pro football only in Fall, but on mute only.
The only thing I require is the Internet which I will add if that is okay. I research, write, e-mail. Just simple WiFi.
Any background check you may require is fine and my credit is in good order as my only debt-an old loan from my one year old DBA (Doctoral Studies-Business Administration) from the mid 90s is in proper forbearance.
Please keep me mind! I have numerous references from here, the Keys, Pine Island, and elsewhere.
Thanks for the read and I hope to hear from you. Just e-mail me, or call me. I will answer all questions and send all references and work history. Or, leave me a # and I will call you if, and when, you tell me.
